Are you 16 to 19 and interested in coaching or teaching? L1 Teaching and Coaching courses are available for a total cost of 50.00. Please let Carol Naunton know if you are interested.
Why not pass on or sell out grown or unwanted swimming items such as fins, floats or costumes to other members of our club by advertising them on our second hand page. (08.01.12)
Please collect your children from within the reception area and please ask your children to wait for you there (re email from our Chairperson Carol Naunton dated 14.09.11). - A reminder to everyone, the coaches and teachers are only responsible for the swimmers during the specific training times and when they are poolside. When they leave poolside which includes changing area and thereafter, Deben Swimming Club can not be held responsible. However whenever possible a coach or teacher will remain in the reception area until the last child is colleted.
If you have been aware of or see anyone or anything that concerns you please let me know and we will report it to the police. (14.09.11)
Important Notice.
Please could everyone ( all squads, masters, teaching section and polo players) be reminded of the requirements of our hire and use of Deben Pool.
1. No photographs to be taken within Deben Swimming Pool building, unless the necessary authorisation has been agreed and recorded.
2. All bags to be stored in available lockers or taken poolside, any bags, equipment left unattended in the changing areas may be removed by pool staff.
3. Any equipment, bags etc to be clear of the vented areas around poolside.

If you feel you could help with any of these roles either the current vacant roles or indeed where you feel you could be an additional support to an already filled position please let Carol Naunton (01473 274872) know.
