Didi Polo
This first group is aimed at young swimmers aged 7 to 9 years, who are interested in having fun in the water in a team environment.

Mini Polo
This the first group and is aimed at young swimmers aged 8 to 10 years.  The overall aim is to teach the FUNdamentals of water polo in a structured environment.  Participation in other sports is also encouraged to help them develop the basic skills such as ABC’s as well as attendance at regular swimming lessons.

Mini Polo Intermediate
This group is aimed at those aged 9 to 12 years, and is based around the Learning to Play of water polo.  The main aims of this group centre around basic technical skills and tactical skills.  Regular attendance at swimming lessons/training is still encouraged at this stage to help the players overall development.

Junior Polo
This group gives players the first opportunity to experience water polo in a large pool with deep water training a significant element.  The aims are based on the Training to Train phase of the water polo LTAD, and so development of skills to make them efficient and effective for longer periods.  Regular swimming training is also important, with at least 2 hours per week being beneficial to all players.
